1st Lieutenants will continue their development through company-level assignments and may also serve in staff positions at the battalion level. Typical duty positions at this stage of your career may include company executive officer, company operations officer, and signal battalion staff officer. Selected officers may serve as the principle coordinating Signal Officer, S6, in non-Signal battalions.
