Army Medical Centers

     A MEDCEN offers sophisticated diagnosis and treatment of complicated disease processes along with comprehensive day-to-day care of routine medical and surgical care. MEDCENs are larger than Army Community Hospitals, have more sophisticated equipment and more specialized staff as well as offering a wider array of specialty care. All MEDCENs offer graduate medical education (internships, residency programs).
