General

Officers who demonstrate extraordinary leadership and executive abilities are selected for general officer. These officers are assigned to extremely demanding positions in support of The Surgeon General. Assignments include duties as one of three Assistant Surgeon Generals, command of major medical centers or Army Medical Department functional commands.
