AFATDS Command and Staff Course

Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) is the fire support portion of the Army Battle Command System (ABCS).

AFATDS provides:

•  Automated Fire Support planning and execution capabilities for fire assets
  (cannon, rocket, missile, mortars, close air support, air interdiction, naval gunfire, attack helicopter, offensive electronic warfare)

• Intelligence and logistic functions in the execution of counterfire, interdiction, suppression of enemy air defense and deep operations

This three-week course is conducted at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
