The next step in your development as a Chemical Officer is attendance at the Captain's Career Course at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This 24-week course is divided into two-phases and is designed to prepare you for duty as a brigade, division, or corps-level Chemical Officer, and also prepares you for company command.

Phase I of CMC3 is 18 weeks long and is divided into four modules:
· Leadership Foundations
· Chemical Tactical/Technical Training
· Combined Arms Tactics
· Tactical Chemical Operations
You will attend the six-week Phase II at the Combined Arms Staff and Services School (CAS3) at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
