CCC (Captain's Career Course)

The next step in your education as an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) officer comes with your selection to attend the Captain's Career Course. It is here that you will receive the specialized training you will need to successfully command a Battery or Company size unit - or to serve as a Battalion or Brigade staff officer. The Career Course is divided into five distinct phases:

• Threat and Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB)
• Air and Missile Defense Systems and Organizations
• Military Decision Making Process
• Joint Operations
• Leadership and Management
  

AMD CCC has also partnered with the University of Texas, El Paso UTEP and Webster's Universities in offering a Master's Degree in Leadership. The classes run concurrently with the CCC. In many cases, the Army provides 100% tuition assistance.
